Institutional Events

Mara Verbena has long curated and created floral furnishings and installations during official and institutional events of the Republic of San Marino. This has happened during official visits such as those of Pope Benedict XVI or the President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano. As well as during gala evenings and recitals dedicated to great artists such as Sofia Loren or Sting. Among her initiatives, linked to the image of the Republic of San Marino, the creation of two new flowers: the Carnation hybrid dedicated to Saint Agatha, co-patron saint of San Marino, and the “Delfinium, Verissimo del Titano” created thanks to the great Dutch hybridizer Goos Barteels. The images of the three floral creations have become official stamp issues of the Philatelic and Numismatic Office of San Marino.
