Sanremo Festival Bouquet Competition
In 2016 Mara Verbena participated, together with the National Association of Plants and Flowers of Italy and the Pianeta Fiore school, in the Song Festival. They are the floral bouquets of that edition.
Together with the municipal administration and the vision of the mayor Alberto Biancheri, it was then decided to resume and relaunch the Sanremo Bouquet Competition.
A showcase where, in 2017, the young Italian florists, followed and accompanied by Mara Verbena, Cristiano Genovali and Chicco Pastorino addressed the theme of how to tell the story of Italian song with flowers.
The competition was repeated in 2018, a year characterized by the large arch of flowers at the entrance of the Ariston theater and in whose creation the florists of the pianeta fiore team participated, now in their third consecutive year of successful participation. An edition marked by the constant presence of flowers at every moment of the event.
The winners of these two competitions were Alex Tondin and Nunzia Di Nunzio (tie) in 2017, Francesco Poggiali in 2018.
Since 2020 these activities have been followed solely by the Sanremo flower market and the florists Sabina di Mattia and Jessica Tua.
